Graduation Ceremony of Grade 6 Students 2025/2026

Every journey has a beginning, a process, and a destination. Yet, an ending is never truly a goodbye. Instead, it marks the beginning of a new journey toward a wider and brighter future.

With joy and gratitude, SDS Buddhis Bodhicitta proudly celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of Grade 6 Students for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This meaningful occasion was held to celebrate the students’ achievements, growth, and journey throughout their years in elementary school.

Carrying the inspiring theme “Behold the Vast Ocean, Sailing Together Toward the Future,” this year’s graduation represented the beginning of a new chapter for our graduates. Like a vast ocean, the future holds countless possibilities, challenges, opportunities, and experiences waiting to be explored. Equipped with knowledge, character, values, and meaningful experiences gained during their time at Bodhicitta, our graduates are now ready to embark on their next educational journey with courage and confidence.

The celebration was filled with joy, creativity, and memorable performances presented by the students. Throughout the event, the audience was treated to a variety of artistic performances that showcased the students’ talents, creativity, confidence, and teamwork.

One of the highlights was a medley singing performance, in which the students beautifully combined several songs into one harmonious presentation. Their voices filled the room with warmth and joy, creating a memorable atmosphere for everyone present.

The students also presented an exciting musical drama, bringing together storytelling, acting, music, movement, and creativity. Through their performance, they demonstrated not only their artistic abilities but also the confidence and teamwork they had developed throughout their years at school.

Adding even more energy to the celebration was a dynamic percussion performance. The powerful rhythms and coordinated movements reflected the importance of cooperation and unity. Each student played an important role, and when their individual contributions came together, they created a beautiful harmony—just as teamwork and togetherness have always been an important part of the Bodhicitta learning journey.

Celebrating Excellence and Achievement

The Graduation Ceremony was not only a celebration of completion, but also an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the achievements of our students.

During the event, students who had achieved outstanding accomplishments in national and international competitions were formally introduced and recognized. Their achievements brought pride not only to themselves and their families, but also to the entire Bodhicitta community.

These accomplishments represent more than medals, awards, or titles. Behind every achievement are countless hours of practice, determination, perseverance, courage, and the willingness to keep learning and improving.

Their success serves as an inspiration to their fellow students and reminds us that every child has unique potential that can flourish when nurtured with encouragement, guidance, and opportunities.

A Meaningful Gathering of the Bodhicitta Family

The celebration was made even more meaningful by the presence of Venerable Nyanapratama Mahastavira, the Advisor of the Foundation, together with the Chairperson of the Foundation and the Principal of all educational levels within the Bodhicitta educational community, including Kindergarten, Elementary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, and the Head of the Tutoring Center.

Their presence reflected the strong support and commitment of the foundation and the entire educational community toward the growth and development of every student.

It also served as a reminder that education is never a journey taken alone. Behind every child are teachers who guide them, parents who support them, school leaders who provide direction, and a community that continues to encourage them to become the best version of themselves.

A Farewell to a New Beginning

After the various performances and celebrations, the event reached one of its most anticipated and meaningful moments: the graduation and farewell ceremony for the Grade 6 students as they prepared to continue their education at the junior high school level.

One by one, the students were called and introduced as part of the graduation procession. Each name represented a unique story, a journey filled with experiences, friendships, challenges, achievements, and countless memories.

For the students, it was a moment of celebration. For their parents, it was a moment of pride. And for their teachers, it was a deeply emotional moment of letting go.

The children who once entered the classroom with curious minds and eager hearts had now grown into young individuals ready to take their next steps. They had experienced laughter and friendship, lessons and challenges, successes and failures, and countless moments that shaped who they are today.

As teachers, saying goodbye to our Grade 6 students is never easy. Throughout their years at Bodhicitta, we have witnessed their growth—not only academically, but also in character, confidence, independence, and compassion.

A Heartfelt Surprise from the Teachers

One of the most touching moments of the celebration came as a special surprise prepared by the elementary school teachers.

As a heartfelt farewell and expression of love for their students, the teachers performed a special song dedicated to the Grade 6 graduates. What began as a surprise performance soon became one of the most emotional moments of the entire celebration.

The song was more than just a performance. It was a heartfelt message from teachers who had accompanied the students throughout their journey. Behind every lesson taught, every reminder given, every assignment completed, and every challenge faced, there was always a sincere hope that each student would grow into a kind, capable, and responsible individual.

The emotional atmosphere that filled the room became a beautiful reminder of the special bond between teachers and students. For a moment, the graduation ceremony was no longer simply about saying goodbye. It became a celebration of the memories they had created together.

The smiles, laughter, and tears shared during that moment made it one of the most heartwarming and memorable highlights of the graduation ceremony.

The theme “Behold the Vast Ocean, Sailing Together Toward the Future” carries a meaningful message for our graduates. Today, they are leaving one harbor and preparing to sail toward a much wider ocean.

There may be calm waters along the way, but there may also be waves and challenges. There will be moments when the path ahead feels clear, and there may be times when they have to find the courage to navigate through uncertainty.

But they will never begin this journey empty-handed. They carry with them the knowledge they have gained, the experiences they have collected, the values they have learned, the friendships they have built, and the love and prayers of their parents, teachers, and the entire Bodhicitta family.

Their paths may take them in different directions. Some may one day become scientists, educators, artists, entrepreneurs, leaders, professionals, or pursue dreams that they have yet to imagine today.

Whatever path they choose, we hope they will always carry with them the values and lessons that have become part of their journey at Bodhicitta.

Graduation is not the end of their story. It is the beginning of a new chapter. Today, we proudly send them forward with hope in our hearts and confidence in their future.
